Glendale’s VAI Resort Adds More Attractions

Opening delayed to 2026, but construction is on track. This will be a tourism magnet for the West Valley. New items include Bar Mar by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés—his first Arizona concept, 11,000-seat amphitheater with private concert views from hotel balconies. Konos Island: A 50,000 sq. ft. European-inspired “party island” with double-decker cabanas, beachside dance floors, and a 130-ft. Aero Sky Bar. The $1.2B VAI Resort in Glendale will feature:

West Valley Dominates Land Sales

Cities leading the charge: Peoria, Buckeye, and Goodyear

53% of all metro Phoenix land deals happened in the West Valley—worth $3.2B. Top uses:

Homes (47%)
Data centers (28%)
Factories (15%)

Master-planned communities like Vistancia (Peoria), Verrado (Buckeye), and Estrella (Goodyear) are booming. Teravalis in Goodyear will bring 300,000 new residents and 100,000 homes.

Goodyear’s Ballpark Village Breaks Ground

Located in Goodyear, next to the Cleveland Guardians & Cincinnati Reds spring training stadium, this new development will feature:

Shops, restaurants, and Rush Funplex (bowling, laser tag, go-karts!)
